I've been on a mini-blog vacation, sorry!

I've made a TON of amis and my shop is really taking off now. I'm sure you aren't interested in my boring rambles and I'll just move on to the amis.

I made this SUPAH FASHT for my boyfran. He loves Hellboy, and I felt terrible I couldn't really get him anything so I made him this.
The cigar has a pin inside so it's detachable. I'm in the process of making him a coat and revolver. His big arm has a spiral and a heart and designs I embroidered.

I am making progress on orders, and my next post will have WIPs for those waiting. I've been stashbusting, using up my older yarn collection to make room for new colors or weights. I'm also phasing out my Red heart yarn, since I really can't stand using it anymore. It's scratchy and shiny and squeaks when I use it. Gross!

I've been busy! I've opened my etsy shop , written my first large-scale pattern, which is for sale in my shop and really pushed my work to be more of what I like. I'm really glad I started making amigurumi, and don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

Well enough from me for now, I just pulled a 10 hour Yenayarn work day, and I'm taking the rest of the day off.

This guy was a ton of fun, since I love pigs and boars. He's a sweetie, but he's missing a tusk! He doesn't mind, though. We're all different.

His yarn was specifically picked out by his owner,it's 100% wool, hand spun from Uruguay. I really love this yarn, it's beautiful, soft and easy to work with.

And paras is complete! He's gotten a lot of attention, and I'm really happy to have made him. He's got wired legs, and can hold himself up! Plus a little pokeball to accompany him to his new home.

And one of my favorite african animals, a rhino! Hippos and Elephants are next!

I am working you guys, I promise. I'm just very busy with life at this point right now.
The rhino is actually one of my favorites right now. Paras is a custom commission, the saber tiger is also a custom!

I did a recent re-shoot of a few old dolls I made sometime last year. I still need more/better lighting, I'll pick up another light soon enough.

This is the old Chicago doll I made last year. Photos are hard to take of her since she's got no hard edges, she's all fluffy and no matter what, she always looks blurred. Hm....

New layout, much nicer now.

I've been hard at work, reorganizing and setting a crochet/work calender. I've made a squid, and jellyfish, started a boar and a wasp as well. I also found an AMAZING local yarn shop with all natural fibers, beautiful soft wool, and I might have overspent my yarn budget, but it was amazing and I loveeee wooollll and alpaca and delicious kid goat hair blends.

Another complete doll, finally, eh? This one had a lot of specific markings and such, ad thus was a challenge, with four horizontal colors on the body and such.
The fluffy chest turned out extra cute, and the fluffy striped tail,too.

Fruits of today's labor. This is a mega detailed head, so I'd say I'm happy with what I completed today. This is actually a redo head for a full plush. I wasn't happy with the first one I made. It just lacked the spark my other plushies have and I wasn't putting my best foreward, and that's unacceptable for me.

Compared to the first head.

Improvement, no? The new head has bigger, more expressive eyes, softer yarn, better ears with fluff added, and the black is a chain stitch and more flush with the rest of the head.

I'm looking to accomplish at least three new dolls a month. My inbox has been flooded with new orders and I'm hoping to be as quick ( but still up to standard) as I can. I do not accept rushing through an order, I just don't work well like that. I will, however meet a reasonable deadline if you do have one, at least two or three weeks ahead of when you need your plush.

Well me and the other half are off to dinner, thanks for reading!

Dip is a fennec/tiger/cheetah hybrid who's packed full of awesome! This is an example of a large plush, he's 12" long, but 21" inches long with that awesome cheetah tail!

This lovely cute rabbit was so much fun to make! I enjoyed making everything and really love how she came out.

I didn't plan it that way, but if you raise her arms, they cover her eyes like peek-a-boo. The feet are weighted to support her,eyes are handpainted as always, and arms are (of course) poseable.

Working on a new method for eyelids. I really like how these came out.
No, it's not a llama, it's a bunny in progress. Sometimes it's neat to be in that stage where it could be anything, ajust the nose and it's a dog, short ears and it's a llama.

Starting to pick up the in progress orders I left when I was ill. Making progress with a few at a time goes much faster than just making one at a time. Make a few heads, make a couple of arms, sew some ears, etc.

Well back to my salad, then grabbing my hook.

Triceratops! I love dinosaurs and have been wanting to make him for a while, and I found some leftover bulky yarn and went to town! I had to buy a huge N hook for him and I love working big!

This will be epic! Cute eastern dragon in only cool colors. It's a challenge since I LOVE warm colors and it's hard for me to focus on cool color palletes.

Mr. Fox v.2 sold, and will be off to his new home next week. Sad to see him go, but I don't have the space to keep all my creations, sadly.
Yes, most of my projects are for sale. I like to make pre-made animals between commissions. Some orders I have to step away from if I get tired if staring at the same color for too long. I also use my spare projects to try new things and figure out new stitches and tecniques.

I made him as a challenge to myself to work faster. I made him in 2 days ( I had planned for only one day, but I got sick and didn't want to touch him). He's made in all natural yarn. The orange is 100% Peruvian wool, and the brown is a wool and alpaca (love it!) blend.

He's got a super soft body, flexible/bendable tail, with hand painted eyes. He's only six individual parts, with yarn woven and brushed out for a fuzzy look.

He's the second fox I've made, Compare to this from only three months ago.

I feel that I'm learning with each new piece, and I'll be applying some of these new techniques to future dolls.
